Multi bag filter housings are used when one filter bag cannot provide enough filtration area, flow capacity or service life. Select the housing from the real liquid, flow, micron rating, solids loading, viscosity, pressure, temperature and bag size.

2–24 Bag Reference Range
The current INCE filtration series includes 2 to 24-bag configurations, with published reference flows from 60 T/H to 720 T/H. These are selection references, not guaranteed capacity. Actual flow depends on the liquid, bag media, micron rating, solids loading, viscosity and allowable pressure drop.
Bag Count and Flow: Preliminary Selection Reference
| Bag count | Preliminary sizing consideration | What to confirm |
|---|---|---|
| 2–4 bags | Initial options for systems needing more area than one bag | Peak flow, bag size and pressure drop |
| 5–8 bags | Consider when additional parallel bag area or longer service intervals are needed | Solids load, viscosity and changeout frequency |
| 10–16 bags | Consider for larger industrial liquid filtration duties | Nozzle sizing, vessel design pressure and maintenance access |
| 18–24 bags | Consider for high-capacity systems requiring substantial bag area | Installation footprint, service clearance and engineering calculations |
Important: These bands are for comparing configuration scale, not assigning a guaranteed flow to each bag count. Request a hydraulic review using the actual liquid, selected bag media and pressure-drop limits.
What to Check Before Sizing
- Normal and maximum flow.
- Liquid, viscosity and density.
- Micron rating and bag media.
- Solids loading and desired service interval.
- Pressure, temperature and housing material.
- Inlet/outlet size, drain and vent.

OEM and RFQ Data
For OEM supply, send bag count, material, piping standard, pressure, temperature, nozzle orientation and quantity. MOQ, lead time, packing and documentation should be confirmed in the quotation.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many bags are available?
The current reference series includes 2 to 24 bags.
How do I choose bag count?
Start with flow, then check viscosity, micron rating, solids loading, pressure drop and desired service interval.
Does a higher bag count guarantee a specific flow rate?
No. Bag count is only one design variable. Confirm filtration area, bag media, liquid properties, pressure drop and vessel connections before final sizing.
What should I send for an OEM quotation?
Provide the liquid, normal and peak flow, micron rating, bag material and size, temperature, pressure, connection requirements, vessel quantity and destination.
