Parallel bag filtration
The liquid is distributed through eighteen bag-and-basket assemblies before reaching the outlet. Eighteen parallel bags increase available filtration area relative to one equivalent bag.
The INCE-MB-18 18-bag filter housing holds eighteen filter bags in parallel inside one stainless steel vessel for industrial liquid filtration. This eighteen-bag filter housing is available in 304 or 316L stainless steel, with a listed Ø1100 mm barrel, DN200 flanged connections and 540 T/H reference flow.
Select the housing together with the bag media, retention target and process conditions to establish a practical operating duty.

The liquid is distributed through eighteen bag-and-basket assemblies before reaching the outlet. Eighteen parallel bags increase available filtration area relative to one equivalent bag.
The series offers 304 and 316L stainless steel. Select the alloy and gasket against the complete fluid chemistry, concentration, temperature and cleaning requirements.
The series uses a davit-arm cover arrangement to assist handling. Confirm access space, lifting clearance and the final cover mechanism for the ordered model.
Model-specific values below are taken from the existing Incefiltration multi-bag product table. Series-level options require confirmation for the final assembly.
| Parameter | Reference / selection |

| Listed wall thickness | 4.0 mm — final construction per approved design |
| Material options | 304 stainless steel / 316L stainless steel |

Provide normal and peak flow, density, viscosity, temperature and liquid composition. Viscous liquids cannot be sized from a water-like reference flow alone.
State micron rating, required capture efficiency, solids concentration and desired service interval. Select compatible media and establish acceptable clean and terminal pressure drop.
Check nozzle standard, pipe size, footprint, drain and vent positions, lid clearance, basket removal height and access for bag changes.
The eighteen-bag model shares the listed barrel diameter and flange size of the sixteen-bag model. Moving to twenty bags changes the listed barrel to 1200 mm and connection to DN250. Check piping compatibility before selecting the larger vessel.
| Model | Bags | Barrel | Connection | Reference flow |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| INCE-MB-16 | 16 | Ø1100 mm | DN200 flange | 480 T/H |
| INCE-MB-18 | 18 | Ø1100 mm | DN200 flange | 540 T/H |
| INCE-MB-20 | 20 | Ø1200 mm | DN250 flange | 600 T/H |
Provide normal and peak flow, liquid density and viscosity, filtration grade, solids loading and allowable pressure drop. The listed 540 T/H is a reference value, not a guaranteed operating flow. Confirm bag dimensions and total effective filtration area for the proposed assembly.
Plan access to all eighteen bags, basket removal height, drain and vent locations, and safe cover handling. This is a single vessel with parallel bags: maintenance requires isolation and depressurization of the entire housing. A separately engineered duplex installation is needed if the process must continue during service.
Select the media for chemical compatibility and retention requirements. The housing does not determine filtration micron rating. Confirm bag length, collar profile and basket support.
DN200 flange is the listed INCE-MB-18 connection. Specify the flange standard, pressure class and orientation; discuss alternatives separately. Select a compatible gasket.
The series lists mechanical polishing and sandblasting. Specify any surface-finish, inspection, material traceability or pressure-vessel documentation requirements before quotation.
Particulate removal before downstream equipment, subject to the required particle size and actual solids loading.
Removal of process debris or agglomerates after assessing chemical compatibility and product viscosity.
Screening compatible circulating liquids to reduce larger contaminants before sensitive process equipment.
Evaluate only with suitable wetted materials, seals, finish and required food-contact documentation.
Use as a selected stage before finer filtration. Eighteen bags in parallel do not provide coarse-to-fine staging.
Integrate with piping, valves and instruments according to the process duty and maintenance-access requirements.
Monitor differential pressure across the filter and use the limits specified for the bags and vessel. For bag replacement, follow the equipment procedure: stop flow, isolate the vessel, relieve pressure, verify zero pressure, cool and drain as required, then open the cover. Inspect the baskets and seals before installing a matched set of replacement bags.
A davit arm assists cover handling; it does not permit opening a pressurized vessel. Confirm vent, drain, isolation and lifting provisions in the installation design.
It is a single vessel containing eighteen filter bags in parallel, each supported by a basket. The bags normally share the same inlet and outlet; this is not a two-stage series filtration arrangement.
No. Eighteen bags describes the number of bags inside the vessel. Size #2 describes a bag size. Confirm the required bag dimensions, collar and basket depth on the approved drawing.
Not by itself. A eighteen-bag vessel has a common pressure boundary and must be isolated and depressurized for servicing. Uninterrupted changeover requires a separately designed duplex arrangement with isolation and changeover valves.
The existing product table lists 540 T/H as reference flow, not a guaranteed operating duty. For water near 1 t/m³ this is approximately 540 m³/h. Actual capacity depends on viscosity, density, bag media, micron rating, solids loading and allowable pressure drop.
Parallel bags do not create sequential filtration stages. Use a matched set for a defined filtration duty unless an engineered design specifies otherwise. For coarse-to-fine filtration, evaluate separate stages in series.
The series lists 304 and 316L stainless steel with silicone, FKM, PTFE or EPDM seal options. Selection depends on the complete liquid composition, concentration, temperature and cleaning regime. Confirm the final assembly limits and documentation in the quotation.
